Counseling
"Counseling invites the heart to heal through understanding- where presence becomes the pathway to transformation."
Gregory C. Wright, LCPC, NCC

Having transitioned from early childhood education to counseling, I have had the opportunity to learn, grow, and develop as a counselor educator supervisor. As I journeyed through the Counselor Education & Supervision PhD program here at Liberty University, I learned about and developed my counseling style and was presented with rigorous work and engagement. Upon much reflection, I have come to realize that authenticity, empathy, unconditional positive regard, and collaboration are some aspects that I strongly believe and encourage. Providing an environment that is safe, warm, and nonjudgemental helps to create a rapport that allows for healing, honest conversation, engagement, enlightenment, and transformation to take place. Training champions for Christ and equipping others with effective, ethical, and transformative tools are my goals. We are on this road together!
