My passion has always been to encourage, collaborate, and inspire people to achieve a level of excellence. Whether in the role of a counselor, counselor educator, researcher, or leader, my goal is to consistently provide a non-judgmental and ethical environment that is based upon compassion and empathy, where learning, as well as healing, can take place.
My private mental health practice has been in existence for 5 years. I have worked in the addictions and recovery field, have worked as a correctional mental health professional, and have worked in the mental health field collectively for 10 years. I received 3 masters from Liberty University, including a Masters of Arts in Professional Counseling. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) & a board approved supervisor in the state of Maryland. I am also dually licensed as an educator in the state of Maryland and have taught for over 16 years.

The Counselor Education and Supervision PhD program at Liberty University has been a rewarding, fulfilling, and transformative experience, and I now stand as a doctoral candidate. My ultimate desire is to combine all of my skills and experiences, in order that I can provide support and guidance to those who are in the mental health field.
My portfolio is a testament of the hard work that I have poured into my educational journey in the Counselor Education and Supervision PhD program at Liberty University. It highlights my worldview and working philosophies about key concepts and practices in the mental health field. For me, it all starts with the heart! Transformation starts from the inside out. My desire, as a counselor, counselor educator, researcher, and leader, is to also assist in this transformation, in order to build counselors in the mental health field, who are purpose-driven, passionate, committed, empathetic, self-reflective, and ethical. It is my belief that all things are possible!
